Speed Indicator Display (SID)

The Parish has invested in a new Speed Indicator Display (SID) which is slightly different to the one being used currently.  It shows the speed of motorists and indicates, by use of a smiley or angry face, whether they are under or over the speed limit.

Hopefully, as residents, you will only ever see the SMILEY face!

This machine has the ability to collect data on offenders and show which times of day the offence(s) take place it’s also possible to connect this to Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) in the future!
